Five beautifully coloured Tasmanian woods are spliced into the centre of this rosewood bobbin. The example pair here has semi-precious rose quartz spangles. In bobbins made in 2001 and after, the Tasmanian woods spliced in are leatherwood, myrtle, sassafras, banksia and native olive (as shown).
